Alberto Ravagni resigned from his position as the CEO of SOLIDpower Group. On February, 12th 2019 Andreas Pichler succeeded him and took over the CEO’s position and tasks seamlessly.
Ravagni led the company from the very early stage in 2007 to the leadership position in current rising fuel cell technology market; the organic growth of the company increased continuously during this period. Additionally, he was responsible for developing the know-how as well as the key technologies of SOLIDpower. Alberto Ravagni will continue to collaborate with SOLIDpower. The company would like to thank him for his extraordinary contribution during his time as CEO, in which he navigated SOLIDpower to a leading position in the fuel cell market.
Pichler takes over
A successor has already been announced, the transition was seamless: Dr. Andreas Pichler took over the position as the CEO of SOLIDpower Group on February, 12th 2019. Pichler, born in Austria, has worked in leading management positions in the engineering and machinery businesses for many years and has proven his specialist competence as well as his extraordinary sense for different markets. Additionally, he has run his own consultancy company.
Pavel Tatyanin, member of the SOLIDpower board states: “We are happy to have gained a high-qualified manager with Andreas Pichler, who will lead the excellent team of SOLIDpower and will make the company the world’s leading producer of SOFC fuel cells. The next task for us is to take the company to the next industrial level based on our innovative products and know-how”.
